40 First Dates and Friends Speeding Dating event was held at the cutest venue, the Vintage Arts Center, which is located on Magazine right off Napoleon. As the attendees ascended up the staircase, they were invited to choose one of many colored bandanas. Each color indicated the type of relationship the dater was interested in.

DJ FTK held it down! Playing all the late 90s and early 2000s grooves back to back. He helped to set the mood for fun. As the attendees mingled, the host with the most, DC Paul, circled the room to make sure the attendees were meeting new people. Not long after games were played, songs were sung, and prizes were won.

This event was so well thought out from venue and music, to games and attendee dating preference categorizes. We’d like to offer a special thanks to Jourdan, Erika and Allison for inviting us to spotlight this really cool event, and to Gadge for being an amazing venue manager.
